Consistency Rules for 1-step (HFT) Accounts
Daily Profit Limit
Rule: No single day’s Profit and Loss (PnL) may exceed 30% of the total PnL for the payout period.
Example: For a 21-day payout period with a total PnL of $10,000, no single day’s PnL should exceed $3,000.
Consequence: Trades exceeding this limit will be excluded from the payout calculation as a soft breach. The account remains active.
Single Trade Profit Limit
Rule: No individual trade’s PnL may exceed 30% of the total requested PnL.
Example: For a total PnL of $10,000, no single trade’s profit should exceed $3,000.
Consequence: Trades exceeding this limit will be excluded from the payout calculation as a soft breach. The account remains active.
Lot Size Consistency Rule for HFT
Rule: The acceptable lot size range is based on the average trade size:
Maximum Lot Size: 100% above the average trade size.
Minimum Lot Size: 70% below the average trade size.
Example: If a trader’s average trade size is 5 lots, the acceptable range is 1.5 lots (minimum) to 10 lots (maximum).
If a trader’s average trade size is 7 lots, the acceptable range is 2.1 lots (minimum) to 10 lots (maximum).
Consequence: Winning trades outside this range are removed from the payout calculation as a soft breach. Losing trades are unaffected.
Trade Aggregation
Rule: Trades executed within a 30-second window are aggregated into a single position for consistency calculations.
